FAQs
Q: If I make changes in Anonymized mode, will these changes go away when I turn Anonymized mode off?
A: No! Please be aware that Anonymized mode will only anonymize personal information displayed on a page. Any actions taken in Anonymized mode will be applied to the actual underlying account (e.g. creating a trade activity).
Q: What are some common use cases for Anonymized mode?
A:
Prospective clients. Introduce Symplany One to clients who you believe will benefit from the software by walking through a Symplany One client who is in a similar situation to them.
Existing clients. As you conduct your meeting with an existing Symplany One client, demonstrate another client within your practice who is on a similar path to them, but perhaps a few years down the road.
Q: I'm also a Symplany Pro user. Can I turn on Anonymized mode for my portfolios in Symplany Pro?
A: No. Anonymized mode is only available for Symplany One / FLD at the moment. We plan to introduce Anonymized mode to Symplany Pro at a later date.
Q: How do I turn Anonymized mode "on" or "off"?
A: See below for instructions for enabling or disabling this feature.
